The quiet side of performance.
A material-first approach to clothing that moves between settings, without changing its character.
Start with the surface.
For this design study, the starting point is a dry hand, a restrained surface and a shape that feels right beyond the gym. The material does not need to look overtly technical to belong in a performance-led collection.
Choose the context, then the construction.
A running short, a travel trouser and a light overshirt ask different questions of a fabric. Use the application filter as a starting point, then compare construction, weight and composition. The right decision belongs to the complete garment, not a single keyword.
Make a shortlist worth discussing.
Keep a small number of contrasting directions. Add a note about the intended fit, reference silhouette and desired handfeel. That turns a selection of swatches into a useful development conversation. Every specification in this prototype remains illustrative.
